GUARANTEE INFORMATION

All repair work carried out by Lee Parry of Parry’s Musical Repairs is covered by a standard 1 month guarantee.

Guarantee Start Date

The 1 month guarantee period begins on the date that the invoice is sent to the client or the date on which the client collects the item, whichever occurs first.

Terms

  • This guarantee covers the equipment based on the faults found during the repair i.e. faults on other parts of the instrument or piece of equipment are not covered.
  • The guarantee entitles the client to have the item in question worked on again, free of charge, in order to address the faults that were not thought to have been resolved. The client is able to have the item looked at multiple times during the 1 month guarantee period.

Exceptions

  • Failures that occur in components supplied by external manufacturers, such as valves (tubes), transformers and populated PCBs are not covered.
  • Any subsequent damage caused by components supplied by external manufacturers is also not covered in the guarantee.
  • Any call-out fees to work on equipment in situ or postage fees (of the item itself) are not covered by the warranty and a further charge will be incurred by the client.

Guarantee Discretion

This guarantee is offered on good faith. I believe that the work carried out is of my best ability and therefore am willing to address any errors after a repair is carried out, should they occur in accordance with the details above.

Declining a repair guarantee is at my own discretion on a client by client basis. If I feel that the client has in some way acted in a way to compromise the repair, mistreat the equipment after receiving it back or is disrespectful to me personally then this guarantee will not be offered. This may include, but is not limited to, declining repair work on an item that I find compulsory and may lead to additional issues in the future.

EQUIPMENT COLLECTION AND STORAGE INFORMATION

After the repair is complete, the client will be notified and asked when they would like to collect their item. In most cases, this will also be when the invoice is sent to the client.

Payment is required before the item is taken away. This must be observed for the 1 month guarantee to remain valid.
Due to space restrictions, I will only keep the item on the premises for 1 calendar week after the repair is complete without charge. After this time, a fee of £2 per day will be incurred.
